  4. Yes there was a failure on the part of the school staff, they let the parents refuse to remove him from the school! Beyond that it's the parents that allowed this to happen.

The filibuster is NOT part of the United States Constitution (you might want to actually read it?) it is a Senate Rule established in 1850 and subject to change as it was in 1970 to its current form. She is NOT defending the Constitution, but her own self interests as is Manchin. And no I'm not a "Demi-rat" I'm a registered, voting Republican that is tired of the BS that so many in my own party espouse. It's no longer what is good for the Citizens of this Great Nation! It is all about regaining or keeping power. Even things that will HELP PEOPLE are blocked because "it will hurt the other party thus has to be good for us"

  12. The filibuster is NOT over 200 years old, it was was first used in 1837 and adopted in 1850 so less than 200 years and not in it's current form. The current form was established in 1970 oh and modified in 2005 by the Republicans to force through judicial nominees. They were not afraid to modify the rules then to suit their agenda! Originally you had to hold the floor and actually speak, not just declare the intent to filibuster as it is now. If you are so intent on keeping with tradition then we should go back to that, make them work for it! Huh no it would make it harder to obstruct and that is its purpose these days.

  13. Why should either want the job? Currently they hold the power without having to be voted in by people outside their own tiny states. Manchin can continue to line his own pockets and "represent" the people of one of the poorest states in the Union and do NOTHING to help them. Sinema? She's aiming for higher office and doesn't care about helping the people of our Nation so why should she want to be VP? She's aiming for the top job.

Neither party is all that great but MY party the party of Lincoln for God's sake, has degenerated in to a total mess of self serving bigoted ass-hats that no longer truly server anyone but themselves! Yeah DeSantis, Gates and all the rest of you, I'm talking about you!
