  16. I had a firearm stolen from my home. I reported it, including who had access to my home (there were people doing work in the home at the time, the contractor lost his bond over this) The police were more concerned about the VALUE of the gun, than that a gun was stolen. When the man was caught the the possible gun related charges were DROPPED. This for a man that had a long criminal history, as to the courts, previous convictions didn't matter! He did go to jail for theft as the value was over $500.00. The firearm spent more time in the evidence room than he did in jail! AMAZING! Material value trumped possible public safety. Welcome to America.

It is already effecting construction in the state of Florida, many sites rely on day labor and suddenly a quick stop at Lowes or one of the other "Big Box" Home Improvement places where such people would gather turns up with no one there waiting to be hired. Dick Rob-em-Blind De-Satan has done more to harm the people and economy of the State of Florida than the last 100 hurricanes that have hit the state over the years.

  25. The knives and swords are indeed weapons and are dangerous, but air soft rifles and pistols are toys. Those were NOT firearms or as you called them guns. It is also why by law they must have that orange part on the barrel, to distinguish them from the real thing. They may look like a firearm to someone that knows nothing about real firearms and that too can lead to tragedy as police officers have shot and killed kids with such toys thinking they are real and a threat. But they can not be made to fire real bullets or hurt someone beyond the "Christmas Story - You'll shoot your eye out kid" meme. That's not saying that there wasn't a problem there, kids that make threats like that are crying out for help and or attention! And of course the parents need to be investigated and held responsible for such threats. But for God's sake, get the kid help!

I will begin by saying I WAS a registered Republican. The GOP started to go down the drain when Newt Gingrich became Speaker and started the push from governing to "winning at ALL cost!" being all that matters, power for the sake of power and "F" the people! THAT is what led to Trump and his ilk running things. I have never been a fan of Charlie Crist but he got my vote! Oh and as for Little Marco, Val Demings got my vote too! I want people in office that will work FOR the people and NOT just do or say things stay in power! Oh and I hope DeSantis gets charged and ends up in jail along with his "god" down there in Palm Beach! What this country needs are people like Demings and Katy Porter! People willing to do what is in the best interest of the people they are elected to represent!

It would be interesting if in order to defend themselves, more detailed evidence supporting the report were to be brought forth in court!
