  2. I'm a retired UNIX/Linux System Administrator (30+ years) and I find your content refreshing and more to the point very useful! Yeah there are newer and perhaps simpler commands, but knowing the basics is still very important. People would ask me why learn vi when there is nano for example. Because from AIX to (name your Linux distro) etc, you'll always have vi :) Thanks again for your hard work and keep keep doing what you're doing!

  3. Thank you for showing the bore as part of the process! Yeah most of the Czech Mauser rifles are in 7.92 x 57 mm more often called 8 mm Mauser, while a LOT of the various South American contract Mauser rifles were in 7 x 57 mm like yours! It's a great round and you've done a fantastic job bring that one back to shooting condiion.

  4. I'm glad you showed the bore both before and after! That came out much better than I would have expected. This is one of the best firearm restorations I've seen on Youtube! Most end up a pitted mess or much of the original finish destroyed. This is a remarkable job! AND you tested with the correct black power loads, very cool!

  6. I wish you would have preserved and NOT shot all of those rounds, but some of them off somewhere to be examined to determine just what was done with them. My guess is possible use of a pistol powder?
