  1. I can somehow trigger that. It requires to intensively stare at something with a random structure, sort of concentrate, and actually perceive hallucinations for seconds while not losing myself, but there's no place for reason. It's like peeking over the edge, I can imagine a unstable person permanently falling into this and get life turned into hell. An uncle of me suffers schizophrenia / manic depression for 35 years. He's still in the 80's and unaware of his own mental state...

  2. I don't understand these simulations, but when I look at artwork made by people with schizophrenia, I recognize a few things, like seeeing eyes, and the view on humans as ugly dark scavenger creatures. It's part of us all, but silenced at most people, I think.
