AI will be money-driven and continue the artifilcially limiting of consumer computers to maintain a narrow supply of media and communication. Until everything is corporate centralized. It started 20 years ago: ecosystems and apps. It wouldn't surprise me that computers that are accessible on hardware-level become illegal. They are already attacking the deep hardware-control that a native C-compiler provides by calling it unsafe. This is where we're going.
