  10. The problem is capitalism. Energy has a price that isn't based on actual rarity. Adding windturbines and solar panels don't fight against fossil fuel consumption. They only raise the price of energy to the point that burning oil becomes interesting again because it's cheaper.

  11. It doesn't. The better parts survive and reproduce beter. Mutations are actually copy errors that can survive generations and happen to be improvements. We call this "survival of the fittest".
