  1. It assumes monolithic disposable design. Moore's law is a corporate/industrial milking tool. Actual parallelism is the enemy of this. It would trash the global demand because it would become only about quantity. Technological progress would probably be made in the aea of synchronisation instead of trying so hard to increase the performance per unit.
