Using it for 15 years now, but they seem to have big problems with single board computers. Like, no wifi/SDIO on a Raspberry. Seen plenty excuses for it but this is a very big disadvantage which eventually could destroy it's potential, as ARM SBC's get more common. Nobody applies UTP cables because wireless isn't supported by the OS. That's going to be Linux in most cases. Unfortunately, because I can't get used to the Linux CLI. Like the 'complete' command to activate tab completion on specific commands sucks and pico and nano are crap programs too. Speeding up the keyboard rate and delay requires the dumbest configuation I have ever seen.

Therefor, we have virtual machines and chroot-jails.

Linux is going to get Steamified. They will bow for proprietary graphics support.

Linux became a commercial monolith, just like the rest. Beside PC's there's practically no hardware that runs a pure open Linux distribution. Everything is polluted with closed blobs owned by commercial enities not willing to support control by the end-user. He got his admin permissions hijacked and gets a sandbox. Don't believe it? Try do download a mp3-file and play it with a hardware-compatible executable on Android or Chrome, which cover 99% of all "Linux" computers. See the problem? It's one giant illusion...

Probably? SCO Caldera Linux is genuine Linux without formerly copyrighted SysV source code, as far as I know...
