  1.  @rookmaster7502  A known risk is what happened to ebola in the 90's. The virus mutates to a tremendous efficiency in spreading and infecting, so that it develops an extreme fatality rate. According to the "survival of the fittest" theory, this shouldn't happen, unless a variant spreads so fast that the kills don't affect it's path and become only a footprint.
