  1. It would be a perpetual machine. Just look at the upward force of a cubic meter of air underwater at the depth of 1 meter, or: the required downward force to push it to that depth.. A tiny compressor on a battery isn't going take that energy out of the water. A at least equal amount of energy is required to create this cubic meter of air. Considered that humans only can breathe in this combination of gasses called air in a limited pressure 'window'. Only oxygen is a bad idea.
