Mother deep brown eyes, Father pale blue/grey eyes, Great-grandfather Hazel eyes (according to his Army records) Me lighter in summer, darker in winter, grey/blue/green/hazel/brown - what I proudly describe as 'spilt diesel in a muddy puddle' eyes. Its difficult to define the colour of people's eyes. I'd say many people of that most far travelled section of world population, colonisation and emigration north-west Europeans, have the least definable eye colours, despite what might be recorded on a passport. We certainly have the most variation.
