  1. All the items were fascinating with influences from across the globe, so many of them had echoes in late 20thC fashion. You'll be too young to remember the pompom fashions of the 1960/70s or the 'pixie boots' of the 80's. I've still got a pair with studded chain pseudo-spurs on them that in themselves resemble Napoleonic hussars boots, combined with a british army fatigues jacket slung over one shoulder held on by a chain across the neck .... those were the days ..... I'm sure it'll all come back into fashion 🤣
