  1. it's the same thing in moscow metro. usually it's a happy-sounding pre-recorded male or female announcing the next station or current station and some PSAs in russian and english, but whenever there's a driver talking (happens rarely but it does sometimes, for example when the train has to stop due to being ahead of schedule, on newer trains the announcement is prerecorded but on the old ones it's always the driver) it's unintelligible
