This crisis started in 2008 when the Climate Change Act was enacted which stipulated that year on year the govt must plan for the year 2050 for the reduction of targeted greenhouse gas emissions; to provide for a system of carbon budgeting. Yes under a Labour govt. Why was this not mentioned. This net zero madness was aided and abbeted by the tories.
