  1. Have any efforts been made to marginally improve the Victor Sierra search pattern? If so, what has been their drawbacks. Not sure if you mentioned it, but it looks like it got its name from the V's in the static search pattern and the mountain formation in the actual pattern with current. Pretty cool.

  2. @JdeBP  Thanks for the detailed explanation. My mind looks for patterns, and this one was obviously just a random anomaly. I wasn't familiar with the ICAO spelling alphabet, but now I am. I have some memorization work to do.
