All fish oils are not the same. Avoid what Dr. Barry Sears calls "sewer of the sea" fish oils. Personally, if it isn't IFOS 5-Star fish oil or better, I won't ingest it. I tried the lower quality stuff at high-dose levels and it made me dizzy and gave me a headache. The only time I've ever been dizzy was that time, well, except if I had head trauma from being knocked out cold at camp back in the day.

Regarding oils, I recommend reading Fats that Heal and Fats that Kill. Heat, oxygen and light denature and make many oils rancid. The author is vegan, and I don't agree with some of his arguments, at least not for many people, but he appears sound when it comes to these seed oils. I won't heat them. I mostly use clarified butter that I clarify myself. I will use grass fed/finished animal fats, too. Your body has to deal with toxic fats... there is no free lunch. I try to avoid them so my body's energy can be put to better use. Oh, and I vacuum seal and refrigerate my Udo's and other oils that oxidize.
