@elizabethk2072 Yes one can. I did. Also ate lots of dairy, which is highly acidic. I believe this compromised my kidneys, and acid started building. Your diet is fine as long as you have the alkaline mineral reserves to manage your net acid diet. If those deplete, though... acid builds. Then oxidative stress. Then inflammation. Then symptoms. You are way better off than eating the standard American Diet, though.

@michaelbourchier2625 You also need to ensure your bio-copper status doesn't deplete. If it is depleted, or is depleting, eventually the master anti-oxidant in the human body depletes, and then the bad news comes from on high and life becomes miserable. Meat eaters have the same issue. Bio-copper is high in the organ meats, which humans ate from the beginning of time until about 1940. It has been downhill for humanity ever since, especially with the metallic iron filings added to the foold supply in 1941 based on a lie.
