@lu_re7198 You present a straw man argument. He was very clear that the REALITY of marriage is AMAZING, but he’s correctly discerned that the legal symbol of marriage has been abused the immoral masses so that the state sanctioned version is a disaster. He’s 100% correct.

@ISTEasnoneother It makes you a realist. Some consider reality dull. It often is, but it isn’t going anywhere, is it? Narcissism is to rampant and the quality of lie that some narcissists can put out there is indistinguishable from the reality. If you are unwilling to use people or be used by people, the only rational choice is to not ‘play ‘what so many consider to be ‘the game.’ Good luck — you will need it.

@vaska1999 Not enough information. This may be true, or it may not be true. Perhaps this person valued her control and dehumanized her husband such that he had to find an outlet to stay sane. Then again, maybe he was a selfish pig. You don't know from the information presented.

@teachmechinese Narcissists have no time for any of that. lol A KEY dynamic is that most wimen want what most men would consider a eunuch-provider, but the women lie about their interest in intimacy to get their ‘catch.’ Once they have their business contract, their inner control freak takes ivermectin and guys fo into shell shock because they realize they have been conned. Women don’t want to take accountability for this level of deceit and immorality. The man has no good options at this point — even good men. What they thought was marriage was being yoked for enslavement. Not all… but a whole lot! It is clear one side is complaining about the other here, and it might be completely legit. This guy might running away from the best living anyone can imagine. It is possible… but not probable, so I wouldn’t assume it blindly.
