@MOAB-UT I agree completely. Avoid metallic iron filings "fortified" into processed foolds, as well as seed oils that are denatured and rancid before they leave the factory. Avoid all the mineral dysregulators like ascorbic acid, D supplements, zinc supplements, glyphosate, chlorine, fluoride, etc.
A synergy between The Root Cause Protocol, The Zone Diet, and sulforaphane ingestion is a fabulous place to start one's anti-inflammatoey diet journey.
Most people never get there in their lives.
Two key points -- use only pure Na/Cl as the toxins and inorganic minerals in natural salts are toxic enough to offset the good of Na/Cl. Dr. Hal Huggins, who took over 200k blood panels (IIRC) dealing with dental mercury poisoning, said that not using the salt could offset the benefits of doing everything else he recommended. I add in a mix of pure K/Cl as I believe the science supports this, too.
If you ingest fish oils, only use IFOS 5-Star fish oils or better, and store in the freezer or fridge.
Only heat clarified butter or animal fats -- nothing else.
Be careful of farmed fish (fatty profile is subpar), and Fukushima doesn't bode well for Pacific salmon. Most fish oils are loaded with toxins.
Udo's Oil is also good, but vacuum seal it (wine vacuum sealer works) and store it in the fridge.
The same for quality cold-pressed olive oil, avocado oil, etc.
