  3. Are you not physically active because your mitochondria are already compromised, though? Does the chicken or the egg come first. Fatigue can be an adaptation to extend your life if your mitochondria are compromised. Trying to run a marathon can kill you sooner -- and sometimes it does in dramatic fashion!
