@falseking989 The problem with the officer's strategy is they don't have chit, they are fishing in ignorance, the risk for screwing over innocent people are extremely high, and the gullible innocent people are the most likely to be duped into some cop fantasy, made out of whole cloth, that he found his "guy." The reason this guy didn't fall for that BS is he **knew**. @petergrandahl2386 Sometimes they never give out all they know. Politics plays a role in policing, too. When they need someone, sometimes, anyone will do, and exculpatory evidence is "set aside."
