@arkady86 The Left, Inc. is an appendage, not The Boss. Their financiers are the boss. The Money Power controls.both sides, because they finance both sides (both private corporations). Divide to rule is the name of the game. George Carlin had it EXACTLY right in his American Dream bit -- look it up if you haven't seen it.

@eg8580 The context isn't immediately obvious to me, but the thought that this system is engineered to exploit our vices to our own detriment popped into my head. Because it is, and it does. Maybe that is related to your point or not.
