  1. they dont work together at all. cults are all about the dogma and rules that can never be broken or changed. progressiveism is incompatible with that. the entire point of that philosophy is that you're changing things for the better. its about improvements. a cult/religion tends to think it's perfect already and any change would be a step backwards.
