  7. amoore67 He didn't waste anything. Truck driving is still a job. Driving trucks is not useless. 3K is very small investment which he'll make back after his first few weeks of driving.

  8. progress is bad when we're unprepared for it. soon so many industries will fall and we need a plan for all of those that will be affected by it. simply telling the laid off workers to get another job will not be good enough as they'll be a significant drop in actual jobs and the market will get incredibly competitive, many people will be forced to go on welfare and the number of welfare recipients will grow exponentially

OJΔ why the hell would they do that? the government will just ban human drivers when they make accidents (which is every ~5 seconds or so - think about that). human drivers will be gone and roads will be 10x safer at the bare minimum. banning automats over safety reasons will never be legitimate case, if you want to protest them then protest against the mass redundancy they'll cause.

  15. ***** Yes it is lol. Just look at your argument, it's purely hypothetical and needs various assumptions to come true in order to be valid. However at any time I can just stick a gun in your face and rob you, or smack you over the back the head with something and take your wallet, easy. Trying to 'hack' into your bank account however, would massive a pain and virtually impossible unless you left a lot of things open. Our systems are designed with security in mind, don't you worry about that.
