This is some top notch journalism right here. I hope dude gets back on his feet soon. Good content, Charlie.
44
When I hear of Richmond I think of P and Coach Carter.
44
Those nice homes that you turned into at 14:10-15:00 is where the Melph projects used to be. 1 of the 3 projects that the 3rd Ward had. It was the Magnolia, the Caliope, and the Melph
44
I would say Overtown is the worst area in Miami hands down.
43
I've been wanting to see this city. I hear it has the highest crime rate in all of NY
42
Just finished that Flint series on Netflix so this was perfect timing lol. Merry Christmas, Charlie. Be safe out there!
42
This is what I've been telling you about. It literally takes about 5-10 minutes to drive In and out of Belle Glade but it is a fucked up place. Fun fact: it has the highest rate of aids in the country.
42
Damn, this place literally looks like Tampa and a bit of Jacksonville
41
The first 3 minutes of this video was looking real active. Peeped the Nipsey Hussle mural at 4:00. Good video, Charlie.
41
Damn, Charlie you drove straight through my childhood neighborhood. I seen my first murder at the corner of the 7:00 min mark
40
This looks like the Cuban version of East LA. Does Miami remind u of LA a bit?
40
Good video, Charlie! What's your take on the differences between the Bronx and Brooklyn? Also, that was Junior's mural at 1:20 on the bodega where he was killed. R.I.P.
39
That very first spot u filmed was the exact location of the double murder u caught on camera a few years back. That's 6th ward lafitte
38
Dope video. Been wanting to see more of NYC. Judging from your videos, Brownsville and ENY looked like the worst neighborhoods in NYC
38
Cowboys Nation 214 Philly didn't look nowhere near as worse than this right here. Philly did have the worst slums along with Detroit and New orleans but this right here doesn't look like it's in America. I say Belle Glade looks much worse and war torn than Philly
37
Lmao it looked like he tried selling whatever he stole to you
37
Dope video. This was a real in depth interview.
36
These walk-through videos are a game changer. Good s*** Charlie. Which would you say felt more dangerous walking through, Brownsville or Bmore?
36
DC seems to be more active but the streets look cleaner and not as run down as Chicago. What are your thoughts on DC compared to Chicago, Charlie?
36
You should hit up Overtown! They got some live streets
36
Dope video. It's coo to see people who are pursuing a music career spit some bars cuz normally most of them don't spit nothing.
35
Charlie, were there any cities that you've done so far where it surprised you? As far as it being more hood than you thought or vice versa?
35
@VooDoo-Priest-1981 He spoke eloquently and sounded very conscious compared to most people that I've spoken to that have college degrees
34
Charlie, what did you think of canada so far compared to the US?
33
Damn, Philly is hands down the worst I've seen. Was this in Kensington? Looks like there were a lot of Puerto Ricans there and I know Kensington is known for having a large Puerto Rican population
32
Damn, this is wild. Yo we appreciate the work u do for us, Charlie fr fr. I've seen live videos of such but this is better. Be safe out there, man.
31
Charlie, can you drive through Central City in the 3rd ward? That’s where I grew up in the 90’s. It was the most violent area of the city at the time. It’s the neighborhood surrounding Calliope, Magnolia, and Melph projects. They’ve al been torn down but the surrounding area is bad. I’ve lost 6 friends and family to gun violence in that area
31
I think NYC in the 70's and 80's are the worst I've ever seen in the U.S. But these throwback videos are the best.
31
East 1999 mahh niggaaaaa...
31
ATL, Philly, and Detroit are definitely the worst looking cities so far
31
@deafsomali just because cities are being broadcasted more than other doesn't necessarily mean it's the most dangerous or the only city with hoods. Hoods are everywhere. And anybody can get killed easily in any of them.
30
Top 5 worst looking cities that you’ve done: 1. Philly 2. New Orleans or Detroit (tie) 3. Camden 4. Baltimore 5. Jackson
29
This is interesting content right here. I can see you doing a "top 10 cities with most street disturbance/violence" video. Good work, Charlie.
29
The biggest artists to come out of here are Outkast and Goodie Mobb.
28
The 3 projects in Uptown he was talking about are the Caliope, Magnolia, and the Melph, which were all the worst pj's before they started tearing down the remaining pj's. Way back in the days before they started tearing down any pj's the Desire, Florida, and St. Thomas pj's were the worst in the city. Fischer pj's were even considered the worst at some point. They used to snipe police Officers from the roof tops.
28
Lol at everyone saying Canada ain't got no hood. Just because their hoods don't look too bad to us doesn't mean it isn't the hood. I'm sure you can get murked in this hood too
27
All of Jersey is a hood
27
"East 99 is where you'll find me slangin me yayo... Cleveland is the city where we come from so run run"
26
I wanna see u go down south to cities like; New Orleans, ATL, Miami, Birmingham, Memphis, Belle Glade, Baton Rouge, Houston, etc...
26
Damn, Charlie you're getting around. How far south are you going?
26
Infectedstyles Thank you, professor.
26
There's something different about this place than all the other cities you've gone through. I think because this is such a small town that everyone would easily spot you and know that you're an out of towner. I was born and raised In the 3rd ward New Orleans but this shit right here doesn't look like America. Just from a viewers point of view I think this is the worst place you've ever gone through. Do you feel the same way? Or did it not seem too bad for you since it's a small town, Charlie?
25
Felt like I was watching the show Cops and u were the camera man in the beginning lol
24
East 99 is where you'll find me slangin' me yoyo, Cleveland is the city where we come from so run run...
24
redd jealousy and haters? Tf you talking about? Nigga I'm just correcting you that's all. If you're gonna post some statistics make sure it's the correct one's! Ain't nobody saying that LA wasn't bad because every city in America in the 80's and the 90's were on fire when it came to murders and every city was and still is dangerous to this day.
24
Good video, Charlie. ATL been bad lately with the violence
23
Lol all the Republicans are buttt hurt in the comments on this one 😂😂...good work, Charlie
23
C1RCL0N3 6 New Orleans has always had a much higher murder rate than Chicago, along with Detroit, Baltimore, and St. Louis. But New Orleans has the worst history of having the highest murder rate of any city in the country.
22
This is a close one. I think Memphis has a much more violent reputation but statistically speaking Bham is worse and actually has the 2nd or 3rd highest murder rate in the country this year. Not sure which would feel more dangerous because I'm sure they both display that southern hospitality. What's your take between the two, Charlie?
22
This was one of the best interviews. The way you walked through the neighborhood with him gave it a whole different perspective. I didn't know Macon was this bad and your videos give the perfect insight on what it's really like in the forgotten parts of Macon. Good shit, Charlie.
