Americans need to stop commenting on European politics. Jeez. AOC has never taken a position that does not enjoy broad left-wing AND right-wing support in Europe. Universal healthcare, affordable college, no big campaign donations are all taken for granted over here.

@Hardie_Boi Depends what part of Europe you're from. In Western Europe, the Greens and the Socialist parties are left-wing, Democratic Socialists and wishywashy Christian parties are centrist or center-left. Then you have the capitalist party that is kinda behind on social issues but not super racists, that's center-right, and the super racists have their own cultist right-wing party.

@JesusFriedChrist You're right. Scandinavia is not socialist and she wants to adopt Scandinavian policies. But no, Macron is very much a right-winger and people are upset by his budget cuts. That's why people are protesting.
