  1. I agree it is the ruling political party of Germany that bears the responsibility of Olaf decision, not the people of Germany. I feel sorry for those Germans who want to help Ukraine defend their country, but they need to let their government know how they feel, if you feel ashamed the government needs to know. Besides I'm sure there are lots of people in other countries who have been disappointed in their government's decisions. There have been times I've been disappointed and ashamed of them with the decisions of both my Canadian federal government and Provincial government. Thankfully those of us who live in a democracy can voice our disappointed plus our votes matter to them. Regarding decisions I disagreed with by both my Provincial and Federal governments I have : Signed petitions (and include my personal comment if that was an option); Sent emails with a return email address and regular snail mail; and have protested. Although I do believe personal letters may have a better response. I make sure my correspondence is polite, included why I disagree, the only threat is that I can't in good conscious vote for them in the next election or donate to their party, unless they reverse their decision or make some compromises. Plus I have included one time that I was feeling ashamed to be a Canadian. Have in the next election voted for a different party. Have even received replies from the Provincial and Federal government representative for my district. There have been times I've seen changes happen, including a complete reversal of their decision, but that change was due to the number of responses from citizens. " The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
