@MsKestrela My husband and I are both retired, I am also disabled. Since my husband always said that I'm so hard to buy for,so I asked him for my Christmas gift to donate to NAFO 69th Brigade for drones and vehicles for the Ukraine military, this made him very happy ! So for Easter I again asked to donate to NAFO 69th Brigade for the both of us, we plan to donate to Ukraine for his and my Birthday. We found it helped is with the frustration and worry we both feel with Ukraine being short of weapons. Being a senior we are aware of the danger of Russia, living thru the Cuban missile crisis (being on the brink of nuclear war,) and having to cover and duck under desk during nuclear bomb drills. Therefore Russia has to be defeated in Ukraine.

@stargazer-elite The funds used to manufacture new equipment within the US would be this generation's tax dollars but less the cost of disposal of the out dated arms as the arms were sent to Ukraine instead of incurring the cost of disposal. Plus the manufacturing of updated new arms increases the economy, creating jobs , those employees pay taxes and spend their income within the US.

@BabyBird691 Maybe they had previously voted Red, as the Republicans generally use to be the hawks who tended to be more involved with other countries than Democrats. Hopefully the voters are aware who voted for aid to Ukraine when they vote.

@death13a In April 2021 Putin filed a submission to extend a claim to the Arctic, all the way into Canadian and Greenland (Denmark) continental shelf and economic zone, as part of Russia's continental shelf. In other words, a situation where they're claiming the entire Arctic Canadian and Danish continental shelf as part of the Russian continental shelf.

@orestwitiw213 I am so sorry for what your parents went thru during WW2, and sadden that your mom lived long enough to see Putin's Russia invade Ukraine. I believe there are more Americans who support Ukraine than not, plus with so many Americans contacting their representatives to vote for Ukraine Aid contributed to the Aid for Ukraine passing.

@Nessy-of-the-Lynn I've seen reports that teachers are concerned with the amount time students spend on it.

They might cut even more taxes for the ultra wealthy.

@BabyBird691 Basically when they vote in this next election they will be aware that the democrats over whelming vote for aid for Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan. Therefore improving the economy in their area. Where the Republicans in the past had voted for bills that included arms, this time it was delayed by six months and there was more Republicans who vote no for arms aid. (101 Republicans voted for it, and one Republican, Rep. Dan Meuser of Pennsylvania, voted "present." and 112 Republicans voted against it. )

@andersjjensen I believe it was Iran's attack on Israel plus there was aid to Israel bill waiting. Trump is an Israel supporter, with his daughter and son-on-law both being Jewish. When Trump was president in 2017 he formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Also while president he prevented Muslims refugees from Syria from immigrating to the US. During this election he said if he was elected president again he will bar immigrants who support Hamas from entering the U.S. and send officers to pro-Hamas protests to arrest and deport immigrants who publicly support the Palestinian militant group. Trump also said that if elected to a second White House term he will ban entry to the U.S. of anybody who does not believe in Israel's right to exist, and revoke the visas of foreign students who are "antisemitic." He also vowed to step up travel bans from "terror-plagued countries."
