  2. I agree if Nato had reverted back to 1997 it would be an advantage for Putin to invade those other countries. If Trump had pulled USA out of Nato, with Putin plans for the Arctic, Putin would of annexed Canada and Greenland and US would be sharing a border with Russia . In April 2021 Putin filed a submission to extend a claim to the Arctic, all the way into Canadian and Greenland (Denmark) continental shelf and economic zone, as part of Russia's continental shelf. A situation where they're claiming Canadian and Danish continental shelf as the Russian continental shelf.
