  2. I seen an interview with an elderly lady living in Transnistria, her property and house is located on the border with Moldova. She said the reason she remained after the Russians took over, was she didn't want to loose her home.

  3. During WW1 and WW2 there were many Americans of European descent including British and Scottish who traveled up to Canada to sign up with the Canadian military as the US hadn't declared war on Germany.

He defected on September 5, 1945, three days after the end of World War II (Japan's surrender), with 109 documents on the USSR's espionage activities in the West. Gouzenko defected to the Canadian government with proof that his country had been spying on its wartime allies: Canada, Britain and the United States. Canada secured his safety along with wife and infant son within camp X in Ontario.

  6. To me it sounds as if these Russian broadcasters believe Britain is the biggest threat to Russian aggression as they said Europe would them fall after they nuked Britain. They may be going by history of WW1 and WW2, but they have forgotten the Commonwealth countries in WW1 once Britain declared war on Germany it included all the Commonwealth countries, although in WW2 Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa were then dominions giving them independence of choosing to declare war against Germany buy they all did so within days after Britain declared war on Germany. I believe all of the Commonwealth countries plus the USA and NATO would never stand by if Russia nuked the UK.
