You should also watch the video of Prof Mearsheimer that was recorded 7 years ago because you would have known that Russia was fine with Ukraine joining the EU which would obviously bring those values that the Western world honours. But Russia was not fine with Ukraine joining a military block that was an eternal foe of the Soviet Union. The statement of NATO being ‘a purely defensive’ organisation breaks up by the events that happened in Serbia.
