  1. Speaking of longevity, 2017 MacBooks are 6 yo machines now. I have one and it is still a great machine for me. I’d rather buy a MacBook Pro 15 2018 with 1tb ssd and 32gb of ram for 700 bucks rather than an open box base m1 mac with smaller screen, worse speakers, small ram and ssd.
