  3.  @BitTheByte  Would you be less confused if we used libre, or capitalized Free Software (as in the Free Software Foundation)? The term refers to user freedoms, not price. "Open source" was coined later, with a definition based on the Debian Free Software Guidelines, specifically to avoid mentioning freedoms. Which doesn't even matter in this discussion, because the point was who the offensive party is.

  4.  @looneyburgmusic  ... until an (unnecessary) driver update misidentifies the printer and pushes (also unnecessarily) the wrong firmware. Which HAS happened.

  5. Side note, anyone who understood what the insta-ink program is would never enroll. It specifically targets the misinformed, like any other scam.
