It can work great, as long as the cat agrees. For instance, dad knew a cat who would not only use the toilet but flush it when he was done; but you couldn't teach him to close the fridge after himself. He just didn't see the point.

The workaround of plugging it in is precisely what you'd expect a user to do when it doesn't power on, so it's a mild inconvenience. Compared to having to unplug the battery (inside the screwed shut case), as happens on my GPD Win 2 when it's been connected to the wrong charger (including the right charger with an Apple display adapter between, thanks Apple, power undelivered), I'd say this is a pretty minor flaw. Publishing the rework instructions is a good move. Combining restrictive purchasing regions with no upstream service of this issue... not so great.
