@rossmanngroup At the point it's illegal to place a home near a workplace, and more space has to be paved to house cars than either, and you're regularly fearing for your life trying to use roads without one, I'd say they are making you use cars. Particularly when they block and destroy public transit. Granted, it's not the same they every time and each one is acting for their own benefit, but the effects remain.
