  2. And they know it. It's like when Willy's would only offer self scanning to customers who signed a form declaring they'd read and accepted a terms of service document that did not even exist. They require their marks ("customers") to be on the hook for breach of contract before there's ever any conflict.

Because the document does not exist, claiming you've read it is a lie, and signing the document with that statement is perjury. As ridiculous as the legal system is, it rarely takes jokes well.
