  1. I have a dream to inspire people to do something about litter when they encounter it, even if just a bit at a time. For now I mostly just go out and pick now and then. Some people seem to appreciate that.

  2. I live in Stockholm, where it's hard to find a spot with fewer than three regularly maintained trash cans in plain sight. Despite this, people somehow pick one to totally overfill, and litter habitually, particularly smokers. I believe this cycle can be broken. Most people can learn to use bathrooms in just a few years, after all. But we still need to clean up after the ones who haven't learned, and set a decent example. It would be less of a burden if more contributed. Make a habit of leaving places just a little better.
