  1. I had a look at Mars this Tuesday night, during the full moon (yeah, only time for weeks we had clear skies). Sure was pretty and round. I wish I had a telescope mount to make out more detail.

  2.  INERT  Coin flip Earth would sure be convenient! No need for those pesky time zones, because everything would rise and set at the same time everywhere, including the sun. Of course, it would also be structurally impossible and involve a lot of sideways falling, but who wouldn't make that trade off?
