  1. Strong Towns' proposals aren't anti-car. They reduce the number of cars and improve access for all modes of transport, remarkably including cars. Likewise, the problem they try to fix isn't even car-centric; it's car-only, to the detriment of everyone including people stuck in cars. Who would ever want to get stuck in those anyway?

  2.  @klausbrinck2137  Induction stoves don't need your pots to be ferromagnetic at all; merely sufficiently conductive. They work by inducing eddy currents, much like a magnetic brake. Look for flat, thick, metal bottoms. Often the pots are advertised as induction stove compatible.
