Mr. Yellow is clearly in a pose imitating a man in Dr. Strangelove.

Core gameplay of Hotline Miami without the sickening graphics, and a space theme reminiscent of SPAZ or FTL? Not bad.

So how long before they resort to time travel?

XKCD 723 in real life. https://m.xkcd.com/723/

The basis of their delusions is denial. The amount or quality of evidence was never going to stop them.

@Gmann2021 Not seeing much engineering going into prompt writing.

@ Well, that touches on the other thing. Those aren't AIs, they're plagiarism engines.

You may also want to ensure levels alternate often enough that automatic gain control does not drift out of bounds to read noise.

If you want a numpty with beta access to try the multicrew with, feel free to message me :)

+kendokaaa I've only run 2.1beta2, but so far it's a much better experience in the Vive than 2.0. It looks like it's rendering at the correct resolution (not somehow subsampling it to at best half vertical), and there's a mode to make the mouse pointer usable (albeit still hard to figure out where it points in the maps). With the improved rendering performance it's doing rather well.

+MattOGormanSmith LibreOffice already does use GPUs for its spreadsheets since 4.2.

You're trying to apply argument to a group of people who have built a resistance to reasoning. The problem isn't a lack of debunkings.

You're assuming a full frame short shutter time. The footage was recorded with rolling shutter, so there's a time difference from one scan line to the next. Super rapid events that happened to be caught on camera would look a bit conical, and with an expanding cloud, there's no reason to assume it would have contracted, something it couldn't do faster than the speed of sound. We're looking at combustion, not a fantastical CRT capable of reversing charge strongly enough to retract already fired electrons from meters away. If you invent one of those, I want to know about it but not have it in my back yard.

@debaronAZK It is actually a composite word of a truncated phrase; rendez vous translates roughly to "make yourselves", with the assiociation of a summons (show up). It is often written with a hyphen.

Also a common issue with ground collision.

My first choice for image scales like these is libvips / nip2.

Towing won't be enough. The erector would have to guy or strut the lander to compensate for the broken legs.

Is it maybe time to consider using the third engine as a hot spare in these flights?
