  5.  @bigpapa1954  There were far more German divisions in Russian than on the Western front. Don't know how you operationalize 'best fighting units'; you likely have no data for that claim. But I will point out that the famous female sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko, born in the Ukrainian SSR, calls herself a Russian soldier. You can see the clip right here on Youtube.   6. Russian forces were outnumbered, up against military that has been trained and equipped by NATO for years, and which has full access to NATO/US real time intelligence. And they they are still gaining ground.

  7.  @ianwaghorne5327  I was speaking of speaking of forces in theatre. From my understanding Russia went in with a force of 190000 or so.

  8.  @ianwaghorne5327  As for skill Russia regularly sends cruise missile across Borderland to hot precise targets in Lemberg (Lviv), Nikolaev etc. As for honor...well, Ukranian forces have used populated points adn civilians as sheilds, consistently.
