  1. 1. A lot of guys taking anti HIV drug cocktails also take steroids, to counteract the side effects of some of the anti-virals. These outbursts could be 'roid rage. 2. The more interesting thing about the whole episode is that the interviewee was describing being sent to the Carpathians (far west Ukraine) for asthma treatment IIRC. In the hospital he met 'Ukrainian' kids who weren't even Ukrainian, but Russian speaking kids with Russian names and who often were the children of Soviet officials or military officers (this was the 1980s). And yet these kids had been propagandized to hate Russia, to believe that the Ukraine would be like France (or even Paris) if not for Russian/Soviet 'occupation'. So that shows that the Ukrainian BS version of history extends back even to before the breakup of the Soviet Union.
