@duece5976 The locals say otherwise. Just saw an impassioned speech by a local nurse whose mother-in-law was killed by a Haitian reckless driver. The amazing thing is that this nurse has been to Haiti and sympathizes with its people who are in abject poverty. But Americans shouldn't be killed so local businesses can have cheap labor and do-gooders can virtue signal.

@hoosierpreppingnurse PUtting the focus on 15000 to 20000 people from one of the poorest, most dysfunctional countries in the world coming into a town of 58000 which wasn't all that well off to start is helping the original locals.

@track1949 By definition if they have 'Temporary Protected Status' they entered the country illegally...they government is only saying it won't deport them for now. Having said that, TPS shouldn't have been renewed, which I guess Trump did do.

@franchescagaragorri6594 Local people say one thing, the governor and local officials say another. And btw there has been a police report of 'cat eating'...the cops just didn't follow thru investigating it. There is a very credible report (audio available here on youtube) of ducks being stolen from the local park.

@chinaarlene7035 Because part of the reason taxes are so high is that we have tens of millions of third world immigrants in this country who don't pay their way. Sure they work and pay some taxes...at least some do...but it doesn't begin to cover the costs of them being here.

There are plenty of locals claiming the cat thing is happening. The cops even got a report of one cat incident. That wasn't exactly reliable. However there is a very believable call...audio available here on YT...about Haitians stealing ducks or geese from a local park.

@DuaneHallinSD Officials have an incentive to lie. And, btw, even they admit there has been one report of cat eating...they just couldn't 'substantiate' it.
