  1.  @AlexandruSorez  But they vary from language to language. And sometimes the same word refers to a different month. Listopad (leaf fall) is October in Croatian but November in Polish, which is wierd as one would think leaves would fall from the trees earlier father north.

  2. There's an interesting YT channel where a guys trying to create an interslavic language. Sounds to me like he leans heavily on Serbian but does bring in others.

  3. What's the difference between beach and strand in British English? I though beach was an Americanism and strand the Brit word for a sandy or pebbly spot next to a body of water. We rarely use strand in the US, but obviously Churchill used beach.
