  2. Correctives are always good. Maybe a correction...I don't believe the 'EU' has the power to recognize or not recognize a state...that is still up to the member states. I know for a fact that Spain and Greece, both are EU and NATO members, don't recognize the UCK fiefdom as a 'state'. Spain for the obvious reason that if it did it would be supporting a precedent for Catalunyan and Basque unilateral declaration of independent. Greece...I have no idea why...probably something to do with Cyprus, another country that doesn't recognize Kosovo as 'independent'. I will say that having visited Serbia nine years ago during the height of the Syrian refugee crisis, I found Beograd orderly, clean, and relatively cheap with friendly people. Montenegro, OTOH, outside of Boka Kotorska, was a nightmare.
