Dude basically all the landowners were Bosniaks (Muslims), so Muslims got 1/3 of Christian produce off the bat. Christians (Orthodox mostly) were subject to all sorts of arbitrary laws like, as noted, not being able to ride a horse, build churches (at all), repair churches, ring bells (part of Christian tradition), carry weapons. Moreover they faced waves of persecution, particularly after the Ottomans started losing. The word for the Christian peasantry was 'rayah', literally the flock of sheep to be shorn of their produce.

@Kerem-l5f There was always, always, pressure to convert. Churches were not allowed to be repaired, bells could not be rung. Constant raids were practiced against Christian areas (see the term Gazi, a quite popular title for low ranking Bosniak 'nobility') And whenever the Ottoman's lost a battle to Western powers, they hanged a few Serbs in Sarajevo.
