We sponsored two color revolutions there, US senators visited way back in 2017 including war monger McCaine, we provided all sorts os weapons and training before this phase of the war. Some 'neglecting'! Maybe if we let the Ukraine work out a reasonable position to its large neighbor and its large Russian speaking population on its own it would be better off today.
