  13. The BBC actually did a good job scouring Russian local and social media and found ~14,000 dead. They figure they might have missed at most 60%, so we are talking about 22,000 dead. That was a couple months ago so maybe 24-26000 dead now. I follow a bunch of non-pro Putin vloggers from Russia, both foreigners and Russians, and none has reported knowing anyone who has died.
