@KirosanaPerkele The US has been sending weapons to the Ukriane since 2017 at least, and also training their troops since then.

@KirosanaPerkele Sending.

Fidesz has received increasing support and now has an outright majority. Hungary is democratic. The EU isn't.

Hungary was a prize for NATO and the EU; the former because of its strategic position to dominate the Balkans (read, bomb the sovereign state of Yugoslavia), the later because of an educated, cheap labor workforce and prostitutes for fat German sex tourist.

@Chillerll Fidesz has won increasing majorities.

Simply wouldn't happen, with or without NATO.

@tylerclayton6081 'Russia' didn't invade Hungary, the Soviet Union did.
1
@Joelmonterrey No, the Soviet Union rolled tanks into Hungary. Russia did resist the Georgian central governments attack on the two autonomous regions of south Ossetia and Abkhazia, regions that gained autonomy in the early 90s and which had a Russian peace keeping presence.

@austindarrenor The Soviet Union wasnt Russia. In fact the Bolsheviks were disproportionally non Russian.

@ugvadugvaw Was Stalin Russian?
1
@ugvadugvaw Yes. Stalin is even still celebrated in his hometown. Berria, Yagoda. Derzhinski all non Russians

@ugvadugvaw Russia didn't do anything under Stalin, the Georgian. The Soviet Union did.

@tylerclayton6081 Russia didn't invade Hungary, the Soviet Union did. And in fact Hungary as half of Austria-Hungary, invaded Russia As for NATO countries never invading each other...well the US invaded Grenada which was a Commonwealth country, Greece and Turkey are famous for the occasional skirmish and of course Turkey invaded and outright occupies the northern part of the mostly ethnically Greek Cypress
