  1. Remember: NATO expanded towards Russia. NATO bombed what was still the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in support of the KLA, a terrorist organization. NATO countries wrecked Libya, in a de facto NATO bombing campaign. NATO countries waged war on Syria under the guise of helping an allegedly 'democratic' movement. NATO countries were at the core of the invasion of Iraq in 2003, and among them were troops of the then new NATO members from Eastern Europe and the Baltics (wonder how much $$$ they got for that).
